Patience...? What's that??

I have no patience. I know, I know. It's hard to believe, but I have no patience what-so-ever.

Husband's putting the finishing touches on his new computer so he can put the finishing touches on his old one to give to me, and I can't wait for it to be done. But before I can use it, I have to wait for my new computer desk to arrive.

When I ordered it on the 15th, estimated delivery date was between 3/21 and 4/5 (though why it could possibly take three weeks for something that's not on back order, I have no idea). When I got my shipping confirmation from FedEx, it says 3/21 and on time. Now, I'm one of those people that like to follow along with a package that's coming to me if its something that I'm really, really looking forward to. (And I am really, really looking forward to my new desk.) So, of course, I see that it's left the warehouse on the 15th and left Orlando on the 16th. Yay! But yesterday, while checking FedEx, it had "Next update on March 17"

A shout out to my G+ers and Tweeps (plus another story short)

This was going to be just a plain, old post sharing yet another piece of flash fiction, but social media's kind of on my mind since my husband has recently taken an interest in Klout and was astonished to realize that mine was sitting at a steady 41 (his is now higher than mine...). I just shrugged and said "Um, ok," because I don't think of myself as a crazy social media networker. I share things I find interest in with people I have found to also be interested in the same subject. Apparently this means I have klout. Um, ok. ;)

Since joining Google+ and, more recently, participating on Twitter, I have been learning a lot about writing and online interactions and how they can co-exist. (Apparently learning is my theme for the year...)
