Contest!!

This is very spur of the moment... but I entered a contest about a month ago for my favorite game, City of Heroes. It was to design a billboard related to the game somehow. I, of course, have no idea what other's entries were, but with some inspiration from some friends and family, I decided to enter it.

I'm not normally a big contest entry-person. I can't stand the not knowing or the anxiety of wondering if what you submitted is even any good, but I did it anyway. I wanted to do something that wasn't as hero-centric. Something that could show a bit of the mundane in this city of heroes, so I chose one of my characters whose secret identity is that of a weather forecaster.
Yup. She let's everyone know what the weather is. Can't get a whole lot more mundane than that!

I did a series of the billboard. The main horizontal and an alternate vertical version for Paragon City. One for the alternate universe, Praetoria. And a fourth for the villainous Rogue Isles, where some of the villains thought it would be a good idea to tag the billboard and draw a mustache on Gwen.

The contest ended on Tuesday and now I'm waiting. And waiting.

I have no idea what I'll do if I find out that one of my billboards won. Even if it's just an honorable mention. I think I'd die.
